With all do respect for one of the greatest center ever play the game of Basketball. Hakeem wants out , which he mentioned that it will be for the best of the team to open some cap room and with all the problems going on in the Lakers team. I wonder if they would consider Kobe Bryant for Hakeem.Would you hesitate to pull the green light? Need your input? ------------------ Rudy T. will find and fulfill Rockets destiny.
This would never never happen. ------------------ There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
Even if the Lakers would consider such a lop-sided trade...NO WAY! Kobe is damn good, but Francis and Mobley would have a $hit fit because they'd never see the ball!! ------------------ "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever." - Gandhi
OUCH! RM95, you should tell us how you really feel. ------------------ - Beck Dream...bring back the goggles
Why do people post stupid thoughts like this. A KG or Shaq trade would go down before this. (as the Rockets wouldn't do something like this ... the would waive him first) ------------------ its all good and fun till someone gets hurt ... then its absolutely hilarious!
Would never do this trade..the rockets are giving way too much...I'd want shaq also in the deal ------------------
Lets see hmmmmm. Kobe - one of the youngest players in the league. Highest ppg. good passer and slasher and crowd favorite. Hakeem - one of the oldest players in the league. Has maybe 1 or 2 good years left assuming no injuries to his 38 year old self. Would make a good back up center. Yeah , that's a fair trade that I'm sure Phil Jackson will jump at. whatever.... ------------------
This is a horrible deal. The only way it would be even would be to add Horace Grant and Robert Horry. Then, maybe the Rockets should consider it. ------------------ EZLN
Very realistic deal. ------------------ Ceo of the Walt Williams fan club. Web site coming soon atheistalliance.org
tasteless and classless ,maybe you dont want olajuwon here, fine you are entitled to your own opinion, but why do you have to call him a b****? he brought the only two championships to the city of houston and thats the thanks he gets? i believe you are the b**** pal. ------------------
Well-said dc rock! keep such stupid thoughts to yourself Rocketman! ------------------ Dream Rejects Every Attempt Made
Let's see, it's not OK to call a basketball player a b****, but it's OK to call me a b****? That makes sense. I love, and will always love Dream for the joy he's given me as a Rockets' fan. But I am a Rockets' fan first and foremost, and I don't appreciate his current ploy. Just like I didn't appreciate Elie or Pippen. Anytime a player puts himself above my team, that's how I will feel. Period. ------------------ "He was under more balls than a midget hooker."-Bobby Hill visit www.swirve.com, coming January 20th, the top 10 films of 2000! and, http://www.geocities.com/clutch34_2000 for great Rocket insight by some of your fellow BBS posters!
The Lakers wouldn't do that deal anyway, but it wouldn't matter to me even if they would. Kobe is a selfish ballplayer, and probably always will be. He makes me sick the way he tries and act like MJ. I was no huge MJ fan, but I had great respect for him. I could almost swear that Kobe is even trying to talk like MJ. Anyway...Kobe is probably the only player in the league that could make me not a Rockets fan, no matter how good his game is. ------------------ "Steve is good.
