Are the only active players to play with their original team for over 10 years.

Pretty amazing when you think about it.

Not surprised about Kobe, Duncan, Dirk and Pierce. I mean I thought Pierce had a shot at leaving... but everything changed after 08. Kobe and Duncan... no way. Dirk... eh... he's always had a shot at winning in Dallas... 50+ win seasons are hard to find in teams... I don't think he could leave Dallas. Ilgauskas was a surprise, especially with his early foot problems in his career, but back then.. the Cavs sucked anyways... they had no real management so I can understand how he was still on that team, turned out to be a good deal that they kept him though.

Duncan, Big Z and Pierce are the most loyal. I think Garnett is up there as well, he never wanted to leave Minny or requested a trade like Kobe did.

Since Kobe was drafted by Charlotte and Dirk was drafted by Milwaukee, wouldn't those teams be their 'original' teams.

    Not surprised about Kobe?

I read a SLAM article about him, the last Pacer from the brawl in Detroit AND the Finals team in 2000.

Kobe never played for the Hornets. He's only played for L.A.

The "10 years" part will be a technicality.

He didn't even suit up for them, he was drafted and traded by the Hornets.

Lindsey Hunter has played for his original team for 12 seasons?

Derek Fisher has clocked up at least 10 for his original team (perhaps 11-12?)

As pictured above, Jeff Foster has done it for his original team for 10 straight seasons.

    Pretty small list though.
