I for one, and hopefully and probably am not alone, am thrilled to finally reach the day where players have grown weary of Kobe's arrogant, holier-than-thou attitude and are very willing to go elsewhere in hopes of joining a team that is focused on fundamentals and a basketball first mentalitiy, where no one player is bigger than the ultimate team goal of winning a championship. I think that Dwight's decision to leave money on the table and the overhyped, horribly overused "LA is the ultimate NBA destination for fame and glory and success" brainwashing that past NBA generations have been force-fed is finally getting left behind.

The current Lakers cast is nothing more than the glorified, past-its-prime ego trip of one Kobe Bryant, and the Lakers organization have hung their hat on that for far too long to the neglect of franchise building and the common yearly practice that most NBA teams strive for.

In trying to better their draft position, lock in players that can contribute to the team's future growth and ensure relevancy, and help their players improve each year, teams try to find their way to NBA glory. The Lakers have been swallowed up by their own past and been consumed by their efforts to maintain past greatness without players capable of achieving their goals. I am glad to see their demise and hope that somehow Kobe can be taught humility, as their current situation is more his fault and doing than any other singular individual.

He won't have that smug arrogant look on his face when his team is getting their but whipped every night, & his 40 year old PG is running a medium paced break instead of a fast break!

    EAT IT KOBE!!!

I seriously cannot stand listening to this arrogant man. Not to mention I hate listening to kobe interviews because I can never hear what he's saying! The volume on my phone is on max and I still only hear half of what he's saying.

That's because he is the best and gets what he wants and doesn't complain or publicize it. Unless of course it's lucky strike cigarettes, in which there is no holding back.
