Led the league in Drtg and NetRtg in 2011.

    From ESPN insider:
He had a lot of success vs. Kobe, Manu, Kevin Martin and especially Dwyane Wade he shut him down in ECF for entire series two years ago.

Hmm, they've already got Sheed, Camby, Thomas, and Kidd, my bet is they trade that pick for either Stackhouse, Andre Miller, or Walt Frazier.

Although he is credited as a defender, he doesn't get enough credit. He is as strong as Artest (watch video of them defending each other) but quicker than Artest has been in 8 years or so. Actually, he might be the best player in the league to matchup with Lebron defensively when it comes to strength/speed.

Any offense he gives you is a bonus. Nice pickup to balance Martin's score-only game.

Damn. Amazign pickup for OKC, they really need another defender to throw at LBJ/Wade.

If Brewer was available for a 2nd rounder I kinda wish we picked him up instead, I'm a big fan of his game, he's a lot like Lowry before he blew up, amazing defender who could handle the ball and drive inside.

But then again NYC hates Morey's guts and probably slammed the phone down as soon as DM called LOL

I agree. It's an underrated move by the Thunder. He'll allow them to play a better brand of small ball. Brewer can't shoot, but he's tough & can do a bunch of things well. He'll give them an extra wing defender if they face Miami again this year.

The Rockets beat OKC because WestBrook's Defense.
It makes sense to acquire Ronnie Brewer

Not that this was the case, but that would be pretty silly to trade Brewer for the ~58th pick rather than the ~40th pick.
