    Could Stephon be involved?

    Hmmm, looks good.

Does Al Harrington for Malik Rose even work salary wise?

Seems to me like the Warriors would want more.......

And Stephon would probably be too much, unless some type of buyout was arranged..... interesting
Do you guys think Al Harrington will start with Wilson Chandler around?

I think there will have to be another player involved to make this work. Wouldn't be surprised if its that kid Galinari they drafted with the 6th pick, he hasn't played because of a back injury, dumping him would make that front court less crowded and even out this trade.

That makes more since than the Knicks giving up Crawford like the story said...........

Jamal is really the Knicks only 2-guard so I would be suprised if he was dealt........

    SO,

    Chris Duhon
    Jamal Crawford
    Wilson Chandler
    Al Harrington
    Zach Randolph

    with

    Nate Robinson
    David Lee
    Quentin Richardson

    off the bench.........

    Does that look about right?

I think thats the lineup the Knicks go with. Harrington fits like a glove with that offense, mobile big that can shoot the 3.

It's a great deal for both teams. The Knicks are going to be saving 10 mil off the books when 2010. Rose's contract will help Goldenstate for next year. Lord knows that Goldenstate needs to get some more people in there to help them out.

Crawford will be a good fit in Golden State.

The Knicks are no longer a laughingstock. Looks like they're serious this year. That's a good thing. It was weird associating them in my mind with the Clippers the past few years.

Make that three of us that are waiting for this crap to end.

He's a great source of 3's and a decent source of points, rebounds, and steals. His shooting % has been down, but should come back up to the mid-40's. If he goes to NY, I think it'll more than make up for his hiatus.

If it's Crawford-for-Harrington I don't like this deal for the Knicks. They don't have the type of depth necessary to absorb the loss of their best backcourt player. Harrington will take minutes away from Chandler and Lee. On top of that Harrington is basically a 6'9" SG -- please help me distinguish between what he brings & what Q-Rich brings. Is there any difference?

Crawford is a gamer and very underrated. He's a big combo guard that can run the point, guard both positions, make big shots and score with the best of them. He's also a good athlete with one of the sickest crossover's in the entire league.

I would much rather have him than Harrington.

I really, really doubt the Knicks gave up Jamal Crawford......
As much as I would love for Nate to get more playing time.....

I'm also having trouble buying that the Knicks would ship their best scoring option playing the best basketball of his career and thriving in D'Antoni's system for Al Harrington whom the Warriors just want to get rid of.

If Crawford is involved, the Warriors would probably have to include one of Brandan Wright or Anthony Randolph.

More size coupled with range shooting (ability to draw bigs away from the basket), significantly better career shooting percentage, and he's been much more healthy than Q in the past several years. Not massive differences, but they're not the same player.

If this goes through I might have to pick Al Harrington back up off the waivers
