1. Houston trades future 1st round pick, Mobley, Norris, Rice, and Collier(ofcourse will have to resign collier first) to the Knicks for this years 2nd rd pick #30, Spreewell, and Ward. 2. Houston resigns Posey. 3. Houston trades Nachbar to Chicago for their 1st rd pick #7 and they get to keep the picks owed to us. C- Yao, Cato, 2nd rd #30 (Perkins or Lang) PF- Griffin, Taylor SF- Posey, Morris, SG- Spreewell, 1st rd pick #7 (Wade or Petirus) PG- Francis, Ward, 2nd rd pick #44(Vujanic)
why on earth would chicago trade #7 pick for bostjan nachbar (a #15 pick that played 77 minutes last year) ?
Seriously, can ya'll stop starting threads with goofy trades unless you actually read somewhere that a team is considering it? Jeesh!
Because I can't access the site half the time these days because these are eating up server space and when I do get here I have to weed through fanboy crap about fantasy trades that even CD would laugh at just to read some decent posts that have no trickled down to the bottom of the page, if I can find them. I'm sick of it! I put up with it for long enough now I'm fighting back! P.S. I'm not pissed at you giddy. You are my friend... You don't have any friends! Yes I do, they like me on this board... Sorry I uh, had a Gollum moment there.
Since about 94% of this BBS believes that Nachbar is the second coming of MJ, I wouldn't be surprised if he really thought that Chicago would do that.
Since Wade would be the best talent on the board at that point, I think I would stick to BN. We already have one undersized two guard on the team, why bring onboard another?
Are you friggin serious with this crap? Please tell me you dont honestly think this would work. I would rather think that you were just trying to be "cute" and post a mind numbing thread then to honestly think this would work.
Why does everyone want to turn this team into the Knicks of the late 90s??? A sign of a great coach, is one who has success with different types of players. Lets see what JVG can do with what we got.
Hmmmm....Okay, that was intelligent. The deal that was in Insider is a deal i would do. It was Spree / Othella for Mobley / Rice / Boki. You can even have the #39 if you like. Sprewells numbers were down this year, but his overall play was his best as a Knick. His ball distribution and on-ball defence was as good as ever. He would thrive playing with Francis, and moving back to the 2 spot. If he ends up a rocket, you will all love him.
