Did I hear them correctly tonight? Kirlenko is coming off the Jazz bench behind Harpring? If that's true; it's good enough for Mobeley. If only he can bring as much defense!!!!!!!
He plays both the 2 and the 3 position. Comes off the bench to replace Cheaney mid-way through the first quarter. At the start of the 2nd quarter Cheaney comes back in and Kirilenko moves to the 3 spot, and Harpring rests.
why? maybe they want to push kirilenko down so that they can sign him to a long-term contract at a lower price. other than that, i don't understand why he's not starting infront of calbert Cheaney. earlier in the season, the jazz started deshawn stevenson as sg. that didn't work.
