I guess it's interesting. The Kings fans think RA will make the Rockets a top 5 team in the NBA, or exactly what they are under JVG. If everything works out perfectly, it is a lateral move. High risk, low reward.
I've lurked at kingsfans since the Cat and K9 trades. It annoys me that you are posting a thread from that site. I guess that is contradictory. Call me a glutton for punishment or someone who craves for any news on Cat and K9 that I can get. The head dude at kingsfans is not that bright...nothing like Clutch...not even in the same solar system--which is why there aren't too many other bright posters on that site.
I've lurked there for 3 years and agree with you. One reason they love Adelman so much is because Musselman was such a disaster he made Adelman look like a wizard. Justifiably, the people on that forum have been ripping Musselman from early on because he was clearly in over his head. That episode made the Maloofs look like idiots because they made Petrie fire Adelman even though he wanted to keep him.
One other comment about Kingsfans: They really love their team unconditionally. The overall forum can't touch Clutchfans, but they are truly devoted to their team, no matter how bad or good they are. The Kings have a great fanbase.
haha i dont know if they have any other teams that can compete with basketball but i agree with you on the note that they have a great fanbase. i remember reading articles saying that they have alot of sellouts even though their team isn't playing well. wish the rockets fan base was similar to that but i guess we have more "critical fans". everytime tracy has a bad game theres has to be at least one person to post up a "tracy for KG?" thread. same thing applies to Yao as well. here's to major suffering until the next basketball season starts.
I know a guy from Kansas. He was a Kings fan back in the days when they were the Kansas City Kings. He remained a fan even after they moved to Sac. and stuck with them through those lean years. I wish the Rockets fans were like that.
Their are knowledgeable fans and not so knowledgeable fans of every team... I honestly have always thought CF's posters were by and large the classiest. Insulting our message board is beneath you guys IMO. Why are you guys so worried about Adelman? He's had success nearly everywhere he's been (coupled with talent of course).
i think i'm gonna have to agree with the king's fans. adelman will custom taylor an offense for the squad he ends up with next year. jvg sucks! sign mo taylor! j/k
I just read your site for the first time and I think its great. There are a lot of knowledgable fans on there. As for Adelman. I love the idea of bringing him in. I believe that this team is just a little offense and some small roster changes away from being a true contender. I think Adelman will certainly bring the offense and with him pulling the strings on some of the roster moves, he could help there too.

Ummm, you do know the difference between a Top 5 team in the NBA and a Top 5 team in the Western Conference right? Right now, the Top 5 teams in the NBA are San Antonio, Detroit, Phoenix, Cleveland and Utah and even Dallas despite their first round flame out. Golden State could even make a claim to be further ahead then us.
