hehe looks like the closest he'll get is a 20/20.

What was the last most prolific rebounding game by anyone? I remember Rodman getting around 32 rebs while he was with the 96 bulls.

I don't think anyone will get close to Wilts record or even 40 for that matter.

I think if Yao can polish up his rebounding, he may have a reb game in the mid 30s.

He's already stated after the 20 reb performance against the Pistons earlier this season, that one day soon, he'll hope to get 30rebs in a game.

How about Barkley's first game as a Rocket? He pulled down 33 boards vs the Suns.

Yes I like the Twolves' chances this year. They've just been unlucky the past 7 years not to get past the 1st round. If they do that this year, they have a chance to go all the way. They match up well with all West play off teams.

And Garnett is just a madman.

*******, if Rox plays em in the first round. They have a chance to kick em out of first round for 8th straight season. If that happens, I don't know if Garnett will still stay in Minny. Especially since Cassell is already 34 and Spre ain't too young himself.

This year's 1st round is best of 7 though, so I think if Wolves get homecourt, they'll be tough to beat. They're good the best road team in the league too.

That's when he boasted that he'd beat D-Rod out for the rebounding lead.

Had us Bulls fans scared for a while, but Dennis pulled it out.

Mutombo grabbed 28 to go along with 21 points a couple of years ago. Not the best, but still pretty impressive.

    3-15 20% on 3'

i think Mutombo getting 21 points is more impressive than 28 rebounds. I wonder how old that guy really is.

Is Mutombo is a Hall of Famer? He did win 4 DPOY awards.

For awhile I thought he was gonna catch Dream's blocks record of 3,830 but he's at 2,977 right now so he needs 853 more. Hopefully he retires before then.

If Mutombo can average 3.24 blks (his career avg) pergame for the next 3 years (1 year averaging 3.24 blks = 265 blks), he will catch Hakeem's blk record. I doubt it though, he's only average 1.9 blks per game this year. His playing time is dipping so his blks per game is only gonna go downhill.

Although, if he stays in the league another 5-6 years, he's got a good chance.

Yeah, it looks like Bibby/Peja only make these insanes shots agaisnt us. I mean, Bibby missed wide-open shot after wide-open shot in the game tonight. When they played us last time, Bibby just could not miss no matter what.

    Speaking of rebounds....

I wonder has anyone else thought of this. I wonder about it often. There was a time when people like Wilt were regularly grabbing 25 boards but at the same time, the shooting percentages were higher. Even ten years ago people like Rodman were leading the league in rebounds with nearly 20 per game. Now, the league leader has 14 rebounds per game (Garnett) but shooting percentages are the lowest they've ever been. Now, if people are missing more shouldn't there be more rebounds to grab? So why are the rebounding averages lower? I suppose the game is just slowed down so much that they aren't taking as many shots? It's all I can think of.

Dream's block record is bunk. He legitimately accomplished enough that he doesn't need to ride a "record" that was most likely surpassed by at least 3 other players.

The most amazing part is that Wilt probably had 35 points to go along with that NBA record 55 rebounds...most dominating force in NBA history...
