maaan! i still can't believe that we loss but the atmosphere at the game was truly amazing. i had suite tickets and we were just going crazy during the 2nd half. it almost seemed like a playoff game with everybody so into the game. out of all the games i been to, i'll have to say this was the best one even though they lost. it was very exciting and the fans seem to not want to sit down. i never seen anything like that in my life. after the game, people kept telling us what a great job we did. at first, i didn't understand what they meant but then they said they were in the suite next to ours and saw us acting a fool! and i ain't gonna lie, we were the "crunkest" suite there and people recognized. basically it was just me and my friend going crazy with those ballon banger thingy that they pass out. we were making so much noise that the row in front of us got so annoyed, they got up and decided to watch the game from the back. thanks rockets for this great fan experience even though they couldn't pull out the W.
Should have been there for the home opener...now that was a whole different ball game. That one we won so it was crazy. I am sure this game had some major excitment as well but a win helps a lot....
I went last night. It was a good time. The bigger weekend games are always more fun because its crowded, everyone is usually into (depending on how the game is going) and even the timeout breaks are new to a lot of people there. That said, I've been fortunate enough to have gone to at least four other better games: (1) Game 7 against the Knicks in the Finals, (2) Game 6 against the Knicks in the Finals - almost #1, but the clinching game has to be the top, (3) Triple overtime win against Indiana 4 or 5 years ago, (4) Triple overtime against Atlanta last year...
Hey Vic, long time no talk man! the crowd looked very alive and the team looked energized and determined. The home opener was as loud as ive heard in a long time, I'm sure last nights was right up there with it. I think as we improve our record and performance the crowd will get much more into it. Every game is going to be "big" games pretty soon and I'm glad i got the t-mac pack.
