Does Evans ever stop dribbling the ball? I never followed the Rockets during the Francis era, but if it was anything like this, it must have been really frustrating
Yeah, I'm watching too, and it really dominates the ball. He's missing some obvious passes, too (like to Landry), and just taking it himself. Kevin Martin wasn't kidding when he said "in Sacramento, we stood around".
and people wonder why Martin didn't fit it. there's your answer. Landry's stats are going to fall like a stone.
It's freakin ridiculous that he didn't give it up on that pick and roll situation earlier. That would have been an AND 1 finish for Landry since Prince was protecting the paint.
Landry shoots the technical FT for Sac. Westphal seems to be doing what he can to integrate Landry into the team. Good to see.
I feel bad for Landry. The Sacramento fans will think that he is flop, because he doesn't get the pass.
So, if the Kings lose tonight (down 24 at the moment), all 3 teams in the big trade will still be winless since the trade.
The Kings don't seem to have a facilitator, someone who can set up good shots for others. Too much dumping the ball to one player (Evans, Landry) and hoping something will happen.
If Landry keeps playing with this team he's gunna turn into Kenny Thomas. I hope he can somehow maintain his killer instinct.
This should be the Kings starting lineup: Udrih Evans Casspi Landry Thompson On paper, thats one sick lineup! Too bad Evans doesn't realize he ain't a freakin Point Guard! Martin was right! Too much damn dribbling and not enough movement!
Landry had 0 rebounds in over 22 minutes. He just got his first after about 23 min. Dorsey had 2 rebounds in less than 2 minutes.
Landrys been in a funk but I think if this keeps going on it shows he was just a product of adelman's system
The Kings have been playing really well since Dorsey came in. Evans has made some really nice passes tonight even if he's also been hogging the ball.
Wow, did anybody see Dorsey's defense on that possession? He basically covered 3 guys and forced a turnover.
