If we didn't know it already, we certainly know it now: the Cavaliers are the worst team in the NBA. Their management is inept, trading away whatever talent they may have for crap "to fill positional needs" that they really didn't have.

Anyone has any doubt that the Cavs are tanking the season for LeBron James?

Given the Cavs head coach John Lucas' Jamesorgasm, the notion of tanking is quite plausible.

No no no, they might think that they are getting too much for him. They might as well add Dajuan Wagner to even it out.

What is Cleveland thinking? There is absolutely no reasoning behind all of their moves this summer. Jones for Cleaves??? It's crazy to think how mismanaged they are.

Fantastic! More playing time for my man Brent Price. He only needs now to beat Bibby and B. Jackson for the starting job...;)

i agree there is no doubt that the gm's are tanking this year. I really hope they lose the lottery and get the worst possible pick. But in a way i think lucas said if james was no there he would go after white, which is a good investment.

I disagree about this trade being all about tanking the season.

Jumaine Jones, even if he played SG, SF, and PF, wouldn't get many minutes.

DaJuan Wagner will play SG and maybe some PG.

Ricky Davis will play SF and SG.

Darius Miles will play SF and PF.

Carlos Boozer and Tyrone Hill will play PF.

Ilgauskas, Mihm, and Diop will play Center.

If Mateen Cleeves has shown one thing, it's that he can lead a team of talented young guys because he did that at Michagan State. I think Cleveland will also have Cleeve's rights for 3 more years.

Finally, Cleveland's only other PG is Bimbo Coles.

They already won the tanking contest earlier this offseason. Now, they are just piling on. Someone needs to tell them it won't affect their lotto chances by sucking a lot worse than everyone else.

What do ya'll suppose Denver will do to counter this move?

WHAT?!?! How can any of you possibly malign such a fine upstanding organization? An organization that traded away one of the best young PGs in the league for a jersey-and-ticket-selling dunk artist with no jump shot? An organization that could have got much more for that PG? An organization that drafted such stiffs as Chris Mihm, DeSagana Diop, et al?

    Uh...hmn...never mind.

Seriously, I think DeJuan Wagner will be a tougher version of Iverson, and Miles sells tickets and jerseys, but they have shortchanged themselves so much this year. Denver better move fast if they want to out-tank the Cavs.

Man I wish the Rockets could have gotten Jumaine Jones! If they're willing to take Cleaves we might have been able to send freaking Tierre that way! What on earth is Cleveland thinking!?

Surely we could have traded them Moochie. The Cavs baffle me.

The Nuggets have a big advantage over the Cavs - they play in the Western Conference. :D
