I have a hard time believing that they could do that. $28+ million player option in 2020-21. He'd be a great fit -- his three-point percentages the past two years make you drool.

Rockets are going to have to get very creative to improve this team. What happens with Knight is really the big question.

Would love to get Bogdan, pretty sure Morey went in Europe to watch him in the past, would be a great player off the bench, can play multiple positions, can handle the ball and create, can shoot...

Morey is definitely the most creative gm in the league.

Kings have expirings to make a play for Porter.

League sources said the Kings are closely monitoring the Washington Wizards with an eye on making a play for forward Otto Porter Jr.

Should Washington decide to break up its underpeforming team, the Kings would love to be in line to snatch up Porter in a fire sale. The Kings have liked Porter for some time. A contingent from the front office traveled to the East Coast to meet with Porter when he was a restricted free agent in 2017.

The Kings have the expiring contracts of Shumpert, Zach Randolph, Kosta Koufos, Ben McLemore, and approximately $16 million under the salary cap to make moves during the season while potentially providing future luxury tax relief to a team like the Wizards.

Well, we can't hope to match anything the Kings can offer for salary relief purposes but I wonder if Shumpert was included in the deal would the Wizards keep him or buy him out? I could see him helping us.

A Shumpert buyout could help the Rockets if he chose us.

No chance the KINGS will move either unless it involved landing a legit superstar like Giannis -- which would never happen.

Buddy Hield was the center piece of the Boogie Cousins trade, along with the draft pick that ended up netting Harry Giles and Justin Jackson. Bogdan is a fellow Serb that Vlade landed in the pick swap with Phoenix. Both players embody the skill set and unselfishness the franchise has been looking for in its players. They aren't going anywhere. Neither are De'Aaron Fox, Marvin Bagley III, and likely Harry Giles.

Well, by process of elimination, if they're not giving up a net positive asset and they're not giving up future picks, then the only thing they can offer is expiring contracts and young players that a young team no longer deems to be worth keeping (Labissiere for example).

So essentially, they are offering financial relief for someone who is useful on the court but doesn't necessarily have a bad contract. If they throw in a ho-hum prospect like Labissiere, then they can probably get a slightly underachieving player on a slightly overpaid contract. Which tells me the Heat would be a good trade partner.

From the depth chart, it looks like the Kings can use most help at backup guard. Would you say that's true?

I agree with you that they're not moving them unless they get back something pretty good, was just saying that i'd like to get Bogdan ;)

Yes, he does rather resemble Lionel Richie.
