Forgive me if it's already been mentioned but I haven't seen this posted elsewhere. King of the Hill series finale is tonight, in 20 mins. Hr long wrap up for a show that deserves it. Should be good.
I am sad to see this show go. It was great for it's entire run. Probably my favorite animated comedy. It especially sickens me that they are replacing it with "The Cleveland Show" and renewing "American Dad."
It was supposed to end a few years back and I think they had series finale made. I think it ended in a wedding in which all the previous characters showed up in the background, but that might not be the one. Anyhow, whatever it was, when the show was re-upped, they had to edit it and that particular show became a little weird, according to Judge. (all info comes from interview with Mike Judge on NPR promoting the series finale and also his new film Extract) Well, at least they should start releasing seasons again. I have all 6 on DVD and they've held 7 - 13? up for like 3 years now.
Thanks... for whatever reason I thought they had already aired the finale. They've been playing some episode about Canadian neighbors seems like all summer.
Man both episodes have been horrible thus far. Or am I crazy? The Aggie one is basically just a remake of every Bobby quits a team Hank likes episode.
The rest of the show after I posted that pulled together nicely actually. Solid way to end. Spoiler Boomhauer is a cop! haha. nice touch
American Dad is crap. Cleveland Show I am looking forward to. Will miss King of the Hill, but it had a good run.
Have you seen the pilot that leaked online? I thought it was terrible. And I actually like American Dad and Family Guy (well, not so much FG as of late).
I'll miss the show. My favorite animated comedy besides the Simpsons. I heard that ABC might pick up the show but I haven't heard anything about it recently.
No Venture Bros or Boondocks? Man, I love me some Venture Bros. Best animated comedy on TV the past few years.
Abc was considering bringing it over to pair with mike judge's ne show the goode family. They decided not to and also cancelled the goode family, another show I enjoyed
Goode Family was pretty funny, but it's similarities to King of the Hill were a distraction. I mean, it was basically the exact same show with liberals replacing conservatives.
