Looks like the end for Hank and crew... I hope they can at least have a proper send off. 13 years on the air deserves that at the very least.
That's too bad. But it's been a great show, was glad we got 13 seasons out of it (especially since Fox hasn't like advertising it these last few years)
I can't believe I didnt know that Tom Petty is the voice actor for Lucky. Just a great show, especially if you're from texas.
It was an underrated show. And for all those years Fox gave it such a bad time slot. If football games went long, they skip the episode and either come in the middle of the show or go to the Simpsons.
This season has been kinda lame IMO.. I'm glad they're not going to drag it on if the quality isn't there.. It's been a great show overall though..
One of the best shows on tv...a lot of comedy gold that you don't get from other shows. Hopefully they'll start releasing the DVD's again...they stopped at season 6 like two years ago.
I remember when I first found out that Brittany Murphy was doing Luann's voice... I still can't believe it.
Can Fox not renew American Dad? That's just repackaged Family Guy. I can't remember the last new episode of KOTH I've seen...I only watch in syndication.
That really blows, one of my favorite animated shows, the thing I really liked about it was that it played more like a sitcom than an animated show. Oh well here's to hoping for a proper ending to the Hills and Arlen. Oh and those of you that said American Dad is a repackaged Family Guy, have you guys watched since season one? It's a pretty good show now.
I liked the show at first, kinda stopped caring, then really got into it again a few years ago. It's a shame because overall it's been a great show and very unique amongst animated shows in how realistic it was. Tom Petty as Lucky is one of the greatest recurring roles ever. I feel like a lot of people wrote the show off just because it takes place in Texas. Some of the people saying good riddance in the Aint it Cool talkback give me that vibe. I also remember there's a Simpson's commentary where one of the animators talks about having to go to Texas to do research for King of the Hill and one of the other guys says something like "wow, that must have sucked." There's also the episode of Family Guy in Texas that uses tons of the oldest most tired cliches. The Cleveland show is gonna be a big steaming pile. I watch American Dad, sometimes I think it's better than Family Guy. Their jokes are interchangable though, so I don't know how you can like one and not the other.
