Kind of corny, but have you noticed there's more laughing and camaraderie lately

Especially tonight's game against the Bulls. I saw a couple of instances where McGrady was laughing on the court, as well as Padgett and Yao. The blowout may have helped, too.

It's definately a change for TMAC compared to his last season. I'm sure he's glad of his move.

It's called "team chemistry" and it makes all the difference in the world.

i love seeing this on a team. shaq and kobe hated each other and won 3 titles but i'd just as soon have a group of guys who seem to genuinely enjoy playing with each other and have fun playing basketball. where the bench guys are over there jumping up and down during crucial moments and come flying off the bench when a timeout gets called after a big play. it's great to see and you see it with this team. a shame so many of the guys are getting older and it'll have to be broken up but this is what you're gunning for in terms of chemistry. people who like playing together make the extra pass and try a little harder and it's great to watch.

THis team is really starting to gel well. They have become very entertaining.

I am loving this so much.

We really have something special here in Houston. This team can only go up.

Call me crazy, but I really think that this team is turning into something special. This season, right here, right now. Is a magical run possible?

But regardless, with the chemistry of the guys on this team, I'm going to enjoy sitting back and watching what unfolds.

Obviously everyone plays a part in it, but man... it's mostly Barry. That dude is walking, talking chemistry. He did it with the Kings, he did it with the Pistons, and now he's doing it with us. I couldn't believe we got him for freakin' Lue. Talk about a great trade...

I'm telling you that all the guys on our team are all cornballs. Geeks if you will. We shipped out all the cool people from our team. MObley, Francis, JJ, Cato, and now MoT has been isolated from the team it seems.

They probably crack corny jokes all the time and probably get along great off the court as well. I remember T-mac saying he was more of a homebody and it seems like that's how most of the players we have are. The old rockets always seemed to be partying it up at treasures or the local night club.

I love our team now but then again I love the rockets no matter what even in our rough years.

    That's just how I perceive it. :).

I also wish our team were a few years younger.. I love how they seem to have a lot of fun out there. Barry reminds me of cuttino a little bit, sura is our francis, Mutumbo = Cato plus more smiling and figer wagging. I really love this team and it will be saddening when they break this team up, just because they were the team that gave us hope to win something NOW. We are the oldest team in the league so that causes for a storyline somewhere. Everyone feels like true Rockets again... They could be a cast of the Real World lol :D

agreed. he's the waiving a towel on the bench, jump all over guys as they're coming off the court after a big play type guy i was talking about. he's always so into it. sura's fire and wesley and guys like padgett sharing the ball help a lot with the on the court chemistry but barry is the overall chemistry guy. it also helps that our two big stars are unselfish as well.

this is like watching the end of the 00-01 season when, after barkley and hakeem had been down, the young team came together at the end and went on a nice little run. except this team has a lot more talent.

woah, better watch out with that comment around here.

Of course it's barry. How else do you expect him to feel after getting a one way ticket out of sucky Atlanta.? :)

;) No way is Sura on the same level as francis, but he gives our team that fire and toughness Francis gave us. My comparisons were not based on talent.

There has to be a "Who wants to sex Mutombo?" or a "We make a lot of money, but we spend a lot of money" line somewhere in there.

I was just watching clips of the old championship run and saw how the team would laugh and joke around together through good and bad times. It really is a beautiful thing to see. I wonder if t-mac is a video game junky too. if he is then maybe yao and him are playing games together like halo2.... We're winning and our team's chemistry is only getting better. I'm honestly very impressed with this team. We basically just rebuilt the team that was once built around francis, to a team rebuilt around yao and we're still going to make the playoffs. This is truly a beautiful thing.
