You should put an option that you have not seen both otherwise I'll be forced to vote for one and skew the results of your poll..... One was terrific.
i put two... i thought one was better. but then i rented one to re-watch, and that made me appreciate two more.
A couple friends of mine saw part two last night and said it was horrible. Just a pile of crap. They were big fans of part 1.
Part 1 was more fun. Part 2 was more cerebral. But when I see them together I know it'll be awesome. I liked Part 2, but it isn't the rollercoaster ride of the first.
The first one had a lot more energy. Plus, I absolutely love the music on Volume I. Some of the best blend of music and film I've ever witnessed! Lastly, I liked the little anime interlude. So, I guess I just enjoyed the first one a little more. Both are superb!
you should try re-watching one... it makes you see two a little more differently. i too am waiting for the full DVD... he can totally shift the order of the scenes around and put in extra scenes... it will be cool
Hope that was sarcasm. Revolutions blows. It was gawd aweful. I was so disapointed when it ended. I like Reloaded, and it got me excited to see Revolutions....but that movie was crap. Sorry to hijack your thread, I haven't seen the Kill Bill movies yet....
Was extremely disappointed by 2. Its still decent, but was expecting much more. I liked the first one cos it dared to to do without the inhibitions of story and realism for pure entertainment (not that they are bad things, but in the case of vol 1, doing away with them was a good move). It was a very raw appeal to the senses. vol 2 focused more on story... which I thought was pretty dumb and ridiculous to start with anyway. Maybe it was just me placing expectations of a certain kind of film on a film that wasn't that kind of film.
how 'bout goodfellas, and especially casino? i think those were pretty good at blending soundtracks too.
