I think it is good for the country with the image of kids there again but I cannot help but feel sorry for them.

Although past experience with Kennedy and Clinton have shown that kids can grow up and become great people after living there the pressure seems unfair. Almost like a child star.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I don't care at all if there are kids in the white house.

I think it's cool. Hard to get carried away with power when your kids won't clean their room when asked.

White House slumber parties will be the absolute most exclusive invite in DC.

You seriously think they're cleaning their own rooms?

    Where are the sons?

    Think about it

Nixon - grown up kids (girls)
    ford - grown up kids
    Carter - girl
    Reagan - grown up kids
    Bush - grown up kids
    Clinton - girl
    Bush Jr - girls
    Obama - girls

When was the last time there was a young son running around the white house? JFK jr?

I wonder if the parents would ever instruct the staff to not do it for them. You would think some of the more "self made" men who were President, like Clinton or even Carter, would have wanted to instill some kind of work ethic in their kids.

it will be a bit weird having two really young kids in the white house...its not going to effect my in the least of course. i am not sure how it will end up effecting those kids.

imagine having to do the whole bring your daughter to work day, or parent-teacher conferences.

school plays and any after school activities that President Obama or the First Lady may attend are going to be media circuses.

hopefully the kids can come through it all right.
