Sometimes the hand is not enough. I'm looking to learn kickboxing/mma.

Anyone know some good clubs for this, somewhat near the memorial area?

The best complex in Houston is West-Side MMA http://katyjiujitsu.com/

Their Kickboxing Instructor in World Caliber winning Nationals and competed in the World Championship in Beijing. He also has a Pro MMA Record Heres a 3-part KOTC PPV Fight:

Their BJJ is awesome and constantly place high in all Texas Competitions. You will not find a better complex for mma in Houston.

Their wrestling is the only weakness as they don't have a instructor with pro credentials.

Many true MMA fighters are produced there, I believe the current texas amatuer ww holder trains there. Also every lonestar beatdown show they always have a member or several competing.

Sorry for the confusion. "Sometimes the hand is not enough" is a reference to my moniker. I only know the pimpslap technique.

Thanks Realjad. I was definitely looking at that one.

Do you know anything about this one?

It is appealing because it is not too far from my house and they have lots of classes, in case my work schedule changes.

I'd tell ya, but the first rule is that we can't talk about it.

I've never heard of them which is saying a lot. I've done some competitions where all the schools in Houston go and compete against each other like the battle of H-Town tournys and I've never seen anyone represent paradigm there. Then again they might just be new?
