Suspect has Houston connections

The suspect wanted in connection with a rape at a Washington State University sorority last week has hired a Spokane attorney and says he plans to return to Pullman to clear his name TV station KXLY reported on its Web site Tuesday.

"I'm going to be in police custody in 24 hours," Reid said in a brief phone interview Tuesday.

On Monday, police named Christopher Jack Reid, 25, the second suspect wanted in the case, issuing a nationwide search warrant for Reid.

Reid, who works as an adult film actor as "Jack Venice," was interviewed Monday night by KXLY reporter Erik Loney through his MySpace page and later by phone.

In its online report KXLY said Reid claims to have been too drunk last Thursday night to remember what happened.

Reid, who is from Houston and a Cy Springs graduate, has appeared in at least 86 adult films.

The 25-year-old reportedly cruises college campuses looking for young women to appear in his productions as seen in a YouTube video 11 News obtained.

He’s wanted right now in Washington state for second-degree rape and burglary.

Last Friday, police in Pullman said Reid burglarized three sorority houses and allegedly attacked a college student inside.

“I’m really scared because a lot of the time I’m in my home alone even though I live with three other people,” said Justine Jobe who is a Washington State University student.

Police have caught Reid’s alleged accomplice who is a Washington State University student himself.

He is charged with second-degree rape and burglary.

A judge set his bail at $100,000 and ordered he stay at least a half mile from sorority houses.

The arrested student evidently revealed Reid’s identity to investigators.

Police say multiple witnesses also placed Reid on the scene.

Reid still has family in northwest Harris County.

No one was there when 11 News stopped by Tuesday afternoon.

He graduated from Cypress Springs High School in 2000.

And we discovered has had minor run-ins with the law here.

Reid taped at least one of his YouTube videos in the Houston area.

 

Considering he graduated from Cy Springs HS in 2000, I just want to know if any of our fellow BBS members recognize the guy.

 

According to the article he graduated in 2000. According to his profile on http://www.adultfilmdatabase.com/actor.cfm?actorid=35863, he started his career in the adult film industry in 2004. If I had to guess, he spent his first four years post-graduation in the Marine Corps. Then, he used all he learned in the Corps toward his career in the industry.

I guess there are worse jobs.
