One of my high school friend's father passed away yesterday in which was an unfortunate situation that was just wrong. Somebody committed a murder over $20? Absolute ludacris. My friend is doing ok at the moment and she is a pretty strong person to go through these times. Just asking a prayer for him and hopefully, they will catch the b*stard. It's kinda scary for me, since a i have alot of friends that own little businesses like this and this really shows me that it could happen to anybody. http://www.khou.com/news/local/stories/khou050814_gj_donutshopmurder.72a3f66d.html http://www.baytownsun.com/story.lasso?wcd=22457
Yea, that sucks. Did you hear about that Indian guy who was shot in the head and killed while he was meditating in a park this past weekend. Another reason I tell all my friends to pack heat.
thats cause it is a little place off the main drag. The Shipleys on Garth and Baker is the bigger one...with a Morning's kolache shop in the opposing shopping center. anyway, this is just down the street from my house...we dont get much stuff like this around here, a real shame it happneed to someone that just wanted to support his family. We have lots of businesses out here that are owned by immigrants, and they are always the best places to go since they actually care about customer service. ++
Horrible, I grew up on Baytown..... This is terribly sad.... I hope they catch that crook and fry him. DD
Terrible story. I grew up in Baytown as well. I ate breakfast at that Shipley's so many times in high school, that before i would walk in the door they'd have my donut holes and milk on the counter. Ah the days when you could eat what ever you wanted............ I hope they find this guy, send his a$$ to Judge Palumbo.
Appreciate the prayers and they have been answered. Turns out it was a 15 YEAR OLD boy. Damn thats real sad. Ive never been more furious in my life. At least they caught the b*stard. http://www.baytownsun.com/story.lasso?wcd=22506 Police arrest suspect in Baker Road homicide From staff reports Baytown Sun Published August 18, 2005 Tips and calls from residents to the Baytown Crime Stoppers led police to arrest a 15-year-old boy Wednesday for the robbery of Dina's Donuts Saturday and murder of shop owner Bunrith In. The name of the teen has not been released because he is a juvenile. Authorities say the suspect has been taken to Harris County Juvenile Detention Center after witnesses positively identified him as the killer from a photo spread. He is accused of fatally stabbing the owner of Dina's Donuts, 47-year-old Bunrith In. Witnesses said In had just opened his store on West Baker Road on Saturday when a robber armed with a gun and knife entered and demanded money. The killer only received about $20 in the robbery because the store had just opened. This sent him into a rage, which ended in the stabbing, authorities said. Baytown police say the district attorney's office has not decided whether the teen will be certified to stand trial as an adult.
There is one way to stop that and that would be PUBLIC executions. No Appeals if you are caught and found guilty, then you are brought out the next day executed by the same means you killed. Our society has become pusified with worrying who we might upset.
