Charles has it twisted. It has always been the other way around.

I never liked Charles, but the man speaks the truth. Everything he says is like a revelation. MerGady was kind enough to only make us pay him 23 mil, and not more.

Only problem, people on this board hear what they want to hear....

Not going to say they disrespected T-Mac, but they have handled the situation very badly and if Barkley is saying about it I guarantee you other players in the league are taking notice of this also.

 

I like McGrady, but the Rockets did the right thing.


Man, wasn't ready and would have hurt the team if he got more minutes, because on both ends of the court, he was weak because of his injury. They listened to him and gave him a shot last year, about his playing time, now, they decided to just make their own decisions.

McGrady may feel slighted and a lot of the local media helped with the constant bashing of the guy whenever something went wrong, but he wouldn't have helped the team and probably would have hurt his own value as a asset. Really, while he may claim to be upset, he should be thanking the team for not letting him risk another injury or being exposed as still recovering.

 

It's tough for anyone who reports sports to say bad things about athletes, or you lose access, and it makes it hard to do your job. Still, he probably actually believes this.

I was a huge fan of Barkley the player, but some of his comments make me cringe.
