Why on earth is Rasheed Wallace taking KG's spot in the ASG? Much WORTHIER Candidates -Paul Pierce -Chris Bosh -Hedo Turkoglu -Caron Butler I have no link, they just mentioned on ESPN though.
total BS... rasheed is clearly not as good as those player mentioned BUT, his team does have the best record second to KG's team in the EAST
Bosh, Pierce and Caron are already on the All star team. I think they should add Jose Calderon or Josh Smith or RAY ALLEN.

They had to pick another PF. And every one on your list is already in the ASG but Hedo and he doesn't play PF.
My vote goes to Josh Smith. He does play some PF at least, and his game suits a running and slamming All-star game more than Wallace's game does.
Actually, they don't. The fans and coaches were under no requirement to pick a single PF. It was simply two guards, two forwards, and a center (and two more players regardless of position for the coaches). The commissioner himself has no position requirements. For example, last season David Stern replaced Yao and Boozer with Josh Howard and Carmelo, and put Okur in for either Iverson or Nash. This is one of the most idiotic and undeserved All-Star selections I can remember. Rasheed's still an above-average player, but his numbers have declined greatly and he's nowhere close to the REAL All-Star caliber players in the league. Just because a team is good doesn't mean that it has multiple true All-Stars.
This just show how weak the Eastern Conference teams are! 95% of the eastern conference players dont deserve to be an ALL-Star! A 13pts 8rebs guy can be selected to be an all-star? Man those was Yao's rookie stats line and they complained yao didnt deserve to be an all-star in his rookie year!
I've been reading a bunch of NBA blogs and forums, and the one (the only one, pretty much proving that no one thinks Rasheed deserves this) defense that I've kept seeing for Rasheed's selection is that Stern "had" to pick a PF/C to match Garnett's position. As I showed in my previous post in this thread, the commissioner has no position requirements at all. But even ignoring this fact, and accepting that not everyone is aware of the minutia of the selection process, what the heck makes so many people think there are such specific position requirements? Do they even look at the ballot that they vote on THEMSELVES, which makes no mention of specific positions like PF? Guys like Michael Redd, Josh Smith (who should be representing his team instead of Joe Johnson), etc. got snubbed big time.
