Sorry to bump but this thread is funny. I think if Rox had traded Yao for KG, most Rox fans would be commiting suicide right about now as his emergence is the only bright side to this season. I think this thread is a good lesson for all those KG for Tmac guys. :p

Since the search function is not available to you, what was the page number when you finally found this thread?

Who is joke now? The ones suggested and supported the trade?
Did not you expect Yao's performance. What a joke!

Despite of all pro KG and Yao. Yao still got edge over KG for one, he just explode his talent after the All-Star break and over all we have not seen the big picture on 2006-2007 season, yet! But i will tell you this even my heart breaks to see the Rockets not making the playoff, but most of us know that next season will be a lot better team, regardless KG is not playing the Rockets.

STRAIGHT UP! Chill out, have some beer! ;)

Good job bumping this thread. Shows how incredibly myopic and impatient people around here can be. There are even posts saying they'd take Desagana Diop over Yao.

Of course this isn't going to stop the KG for T-Mac rubbish, but that's how it is...people never learn.

LOL. I am sure your idol Tmac would prefer Diop.

Wasn't there a poll that majority of people who chose to trade Yao for KG? Who can dig that one up? That'd be funny.

Because some people like to bring up old threads to make a point. Sometimes it can be kind of annoying.

Yeah it can be quite annoying. Especially when people keep talking about trading T-Mac for KG.

Taking into consideration the fact that we have McGrady, there isn't a single player in the game I would trade Yao for. Wow, I never thought it would come back to that point again. We are seeing what we envisioned in 2001.

If you are trading for anyone not named Kobe or Lebron, I think the other team would trade for Yao with any player in a heart beat.

That's true. Yao, Kobe and Lebron seem to be the three most untouchable players in the league now.

I really don't understand some Rockets fans' obsession with KG. When Yao was playing poorly early on, people wanted KG for him. When T-Mac finished the season injured and playing subpar basketball, people wanted KG for him. What gives? KG is overrated, plus I really don't think he would be a good fit for this team.

    Wow, just wow...

First, T-mac for KG.. now Yao for KG?

I know it's been a frustrating season, but the bottom-line is that we are a playoff team with a healthy T-mac and Yao... they haven't had that much time together, but at least give them next season, with a couple more pieces of the puzzle before proclaiming a blockbuster trade... IMO anyone BUT T-Mac and Yao are tradeable (but I would like to keep RA unless an unbelievable deal comes about)
