All the KG vs Yao discussions should end after this game. KG made Yao looked like a scrub with no heart in the 4th... both on defensively and offensively.

Yea well, maybe if Yao had Paul Pierce and Ray Allen to lighten some of the load off him in the first 3 quarters, then he would have enough energy to go at Garnett in the 4th. Wow, can topic creator get demoted to 'newbie'? People seem to forget the posterization of KG by Yao early in the 2nd or 3rd quarter... and if it wasn't for Yao we wouldn't have made the comeback in the first place.

I don't know where your "no heart" are from. Yao has a few good looks but the ball just did not go in. Yeah, KG looks perfect in the last few minutes but he is and should be a championship player if he has the right supporting cast. Plus he is a PF not a true center.
Bleh...Yao is clearly not built to defend jump-shooting PFs; give the man some props at least for trying, it looked like he had to stumble out of the post just to try to catch KG jump-shooting. The man is a 7'6 low block defneder, don't be expecting him to roam outside for jumpshooters. Everytime he had KG on the low post though, he played very good defense on him; he let KG blow past him once or twice, but overall, I think Yao did a great job of defending the paint... And btw, is it just me, or did you notice Scott Pollard AND Perkins fouling out? Maybe because they were...I dunno...the ones actually guarding Yao for the bulk of the game? Bleh.
Agreed... Celts had 3 Stars VS 1 Houston legit Star that was playing on the Rocks( hehe that was bonzi today not Yao ) .... Yao was mostly doubled and tripled-team all night and was running on fumes.... no gas in tank I think the past prime time Dream (43+) may be better on this team than current Yao. At least Dream can defend on the outside.....
wtf? what did yao do in the first 3 quarters to keep us in the game? he sucked the entire game! if he didn't have enough engergy in the 4th, that's becasue he sucks not because his teammates didn't help him out in the first 3 quarters because they did. in fact they took the lead when yao's on the bench!
