I really like Liverpool's chances of taking back the Premiership next year. I think if they get Kewell they really have a shot at besting ManU and Arsenal. Hyypia and Henchoz are going to have a monster year anchoring the Defense. Smicer, Murphy, Hamann and Riise are a group capable of greatness and if Gerrard gets his act together and plays to potential he will be a motor like the old german Lothar. Heskey, Diouf and Owen are one of the most diverse and intersting striker combos in Europe and I think if they get clicking the premiership will be in trouble. Now if they can just get back into the Champs league and win one before Owen's injuries wear him down.

for some reason, Liverpool is my favorite EPL team. i dont get to watch them ever, but the Owen, Diouf, heskey trio is intriguing. granted i'm not the most knowledgeable soccer fan, but i keep up w/ the happenings and i try to watch whenever possible (which is hardly ever). i don't know much about Kewell, but from what i can tell, he's supposed to be a star. it always seems as though Liverpool underachieves, at least as of late. here's to them winning the premeirship and a spot in the Champions league.

Kewell, is an amazing player. Being an Australian, i have been watching his career develop, and if Liverpool signed to the amount that was reported, that was a bargain. I was hoping ManUtd would sign him though, but still, Liverpool does look like a scary team, with a lot of potential. If Chelsea's new owner starts spending at will, it should make for an interesting EPL season next season, thats for sure.
