OK, lets get past that SuperStar thing.

How many think that Kevin should be an All-Star this year?

Sure, he's had a couple of bad games, what All-Star hasn't? But over the entire season, when others have gone down to injury, or others have had serious off-nights, Kevin has been there among the top scorers in the league.

This is the K-Mart Appreciation thread, thanking him for what he's given this season, and hoping we keep him around!

No, he should not be an All-Star.

    More deserving guards:

    Kobe
    CP3
    D-Will
    Ginobli
    Westbrook
    Parker
    Monta Ellis
    Eric Gordon

agreed, except with Eric Gordon. He's putting up amazing numbers but on a crappy team. I would put Martin in the same category as Gordon (borderline allstar)

Another two places are for someone of Parker, Gay, Ellis, westbrook and Aldridge. No place for Martin this year

It would be embarassing to watch him flop for calls in the all-star game. So no.

    Very true.

Martin pump-faking his defender and crumbling to the ground after contact, OR Russell Westbrook crossing his defender and trying to throw down a hammer on Dwight's head?

Hm, I think I'll go with option 2.

Its pointless to say "he should be an all-star" without also specifying all the players you would select to be in the all-star team (at least at his position). Do that first, and then make your argument.

All-Star game is stupid and pointless and is not worth a potentiak injury to our best player, the answer is No.

I think there are a lot of trolls on this board. There's also alot of player only fans and a lot fair weather fans here as well. But anyone who thinks that Martin deserves to be on the all star team I think it is safe to say he is a homer. I like what Martin brings to this team. If we could some how get another true superstar Martin would be a great player to build around him. Martin in this current league is not an all star but he is a solid scorer that would be a great second piece to have behind another all star.

Kevin Martin should be the president or else you don't appreciate him!

Even though being an All-star is no longer as significant as it used to be, there are too many players ahead of Martin that deserves to be in the ASG.

Too many good guards in the west for him to make it.
