On Tuesday they were checking out some rides at Global Motor Cars in Stafford TX. My brother Tony works in the IT department. He got to meet them and says they're really friendly and down to earth dudes. They didn't act like they were too cool or anything. Unlike, Scottie Pippen. That guy was just way too cool... Let it go moving on... here are pics and some Q&A.. Tony- I'm looking forward to you guys help us bring a championship to Houston. KM- Yea me too..with the new Rockets additions, and Yao coming back next season, we definitely have a shot. Tony- So does that mean you're looking forward to playing alongside Yao? KM- O-Yea most definitely. Tony- Do you have a nick name? KM- No. I don't. Tony- Well since K-Mart is already taken, we've been trying to come up with one for you. KM- That's cool...I'll just leave that up to the fans. Tony- We've been trying to come up with a nick name for you. How about JJ? JJ- That's perfect, keep it nice and simple.
Damn... that's like not even 2 mins from where my home is back in Houston... grrr.. wish I was there. Pretty cool though.
so which one are you? pretty cool though you should have told them to sign up for clutchfans but not to read the board after a loss
The Kevin Martin photo doesn't show up for me, is anyone else having this problem? I can see the Jeffries photo though. Thanks for sharing this!
Yeah, it's so hard for us to give a nick to Kevin that we really have to think about it. It can't be just a name closedly taken from his full names, because it's taken and Kevin is special. But for Jared, yeah, let's not waste time. JJ that is, even though more than a dozen of NBA players are called JJ.  Love it, very subtle insults.
Then your home isn't in Houston. I hate it when people that live in Sugar Land, Stafford, the Woodlands, Conroe, etc. say they live in Houston. You don't. You live in a suburb or the outskirts.
