Okay, I've had enough. After 5 games with the Celtics, this guy is simply unbelievable.

I know it may be a bit early, but his averages are stunning.

With tonight's game of 27 pts 19 rebs 6 asst and 3 blocks his averages for the 07-08 season come to 23.6pts 16.3rebs 6asst 2.8stl and 1.6blks on over 62% shooting. His NBA.com efficiency rating is almost 40, unheard of.

KG is on top of the world, no way anyone can question him currently as the league's MVP.

    Thoughts?

My thinking is he's in the East, and the season just began, so he automatically has +5 more points and rebounds than he'll actually get. No doubt though that KG looks like KG, but the start of the season is never the same as the end, so we'll see. For now, he looks awesome kicking the asses of the 3-3 Nuggets, 3-3 Raptors, 0-5 Wizards, and 2-3 Hawks

it has nothing to do with the east. he posted some monster numbers in the west also, his MVP season he had a lesser "big 3" with cassell and spreewell with averages that are pretty godly also.

kg never had a supporting cast other than that season and this season, and it seems like he'll go pretty deep in the playoffs just like that season.

the only flaw in kg's game is he's too unselfish at times. he needs a takeover scorer to take the last shot and he has that now in pierce and allen. he does all the little things and all the big things and is a great passer and defender and can play all 5 points, from bringing the ball up to shooting jumpers to defending the paint and posting up. his other "flaw" i guess is his 3 point shot isn't deadly accurate but he can make it from time to time.

i would try to diss KG's game just because he's not a rocket like some people here, but that's just stupid imo. he definately has game, and im happy he has support now

If he keeps it up and Celtics keep dominating I don't see why the Media wouldn't give him the MVP.

    Nah.

The 25 man post-season roster of the Boston Red Sox (plus Tim Wakefield) is the "best" in Boston.

Brady is somewhere after Eric Gagne.

That's barely an exageration. Compared to Big Papi, Tom Brady is a face on the milk carton here.

I'll just say this, Boston fans have a lot to be excited for.

KG will for sure be MVP even if he doesn't keep this pace up. As long as he keeps a "KG" pace up, he will get MVP so long as the Celtics are top 4 in the East and the way it's going, they'll be number 1 by far.

I just can't wait for them to match up with the West's best (that includes us, I believe).

are you telling me that you just figured out that Kevin Garnett is good?

I can't wait for his team to play the good teams out west.

The man is on a mission. As I said in the Celtics thread; the Celts will make the finals, and KG will be a -STRONG- MVP contender.

Yawn. 3 of the teams we have faced are all significantly better than anyone Boston has feasted on. Get back to me after they take on the West's best.

He'll take the MVP, Celtics could probably win the East, but the West will bring home the title again.

    23.6pts 16.3rebs 6asst 2.8stl and 1.6blks isn't good. It's evidence for why adidas' says "Impossible is nothing."

Im currently in school in Boston...and the city is loving every second of this. Kinda annoying to see, but Im glad for KG and the Celtics.

You must be kidding, the pats' tv rating is always higher than sox.

KG looking good though, I might have to catch a few more games this year.
