Just announced during the NBA Finals pre-game show. I guess 2k jumped on their bandwagon as well, but he is a great player though. Lock it up, if its been posted.

Any recent NBA Live has been garbage. I tried to run a Rockets dynasty in NBA Live 08... I let the fact that Scola wasn't in the game slide. I let Yao shooting above 40% on threes slide. I let the fact that McRoberts was projected first overall in thier draft thingy and how when he was drafted by the Blazers, he was given a rating of 89...which was better then like 4/5 of the league, including Yao...I let that slide. I couldn't let the intervention gameplay slide though...it was like paining me to play that game. You literally couldn't stop a "Superstar" any time they got within ten feet of the rim and Yao got posterized so often (like 3 times a minute). ...Long story short, buy 2K9, not Live 09.
Is there going to be a feature that will allow KG to start pumping his fists, thumping his chest, and yelling after a routine play?
live 02 on ps1 just might be the greatest basketball game ever created....then live 97. we still play those two.
Most NBA Live fans stay with the franchise because of loyalty. At a time, it was the best (some consider only) basketball sim game out there. Then 2K on the dreamcast came out. NBA 2K- has the better overall product. With EA trying to acquire the better competition, 2K has to be more commercial than it's been in the past. KG on their cover is a good choice. A bonafide superstar, household name, street cred, and he's playing in the Finals.
I used to love playing NBA2K2 or 2k1, i dont remember. I had it on dreamcast when i was younger, I think Iverson was on the cover of it.
