Didn't know where to put this but I figured the hangout would work. It's probably a viral campaign by Nike but it's so well done that it's hard to tell. <object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/SnBvqbsMOPI?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SnBvqbsMOPI?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object> http://twitter.com/#!/kd35sneighbor http://youtube.com/kd35sneighbor
Yeah I would have to say it's something Viral. Why in hell would Durant be helping a mover put down a box from the truck?
Honestly if there is a superstar in the NBA that would do it, it would be him. I don't know how much of the way he acts is sincerity vs. the image of himself he is trying to create, but I like it.
I don't think it's an act. It's just so hard to find such down to Earth celebrities these days that it's hard to give them benefit of the doubt. I honestly think KD is a good guy but we may never know.
This one is creepy, yet funny. <object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/lueLN4b98VM?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/lueLN4b98VM?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object>
How much you press, brah? 230? 250? Lookin' good. Me, I do about fifteen reps of 180, low weight high reps are what all the celebs are doing now. Jake Gyllenhall, he got RIPPED doin' that, brah. RIPPED, brah. You take protien? That's what I do, brah. Protein morning noon and night, brah. Gettin' RIPPED, brah. That's what I'm talkin' about. Jake style. He makes his own equipment, brah. Body by Jake. That's Jake Gyllenhall, like in that Iraq movie he made, with that hot b****, brah. Keep pressin brah, get RIPPED!
http://twitter.com/kd35sneighbor Yeah, probably a compaign of some sort, but it's interesting nonetheless. It wouldn't surprise me that Durant helps movers out a little bit -- he's got that sort of persona (or at least we've been led to believe he does).
I would think if this was real, Thunder mgmt wouldn't think to highly of their franchise player helping movers while taking the risk of damaging his back. All he needs is one small tweak or injury to sit out some games and hear the masses yell, "Dude, you're a multimillionaire. you can afford to let the movers do this stuff for you while you sit back and relax. how stupid can you be?' you're damned if you do and damned if you don't.
LOL those boxes were so damn empty its not even funny, they could have at least filled it up with something. LOL, I can't stand the marketers behind this guy....I'm sure he may be a good guy, but this is beond silly.
yeah he retweeted that video in the OP. KD's last 2 tweets in the order they appeared My new neighbor trippin!!! RT @kd35sneighbor: Most important meal of the day @KDthunderup style! http://bit.ly/9OYvkU about 6 hours ago via Echofon Yo @kd35sneighbor quit snoopin around my house with ur camera!!! If you wanna chill, just come over...I’m around bruh bruh about 2 hours ago via Echofon dang. crazy kid. Durant is a very likable guy. I don't question his box moving motives at all. I'm sure he was anxious to get everything into his new home.
I met the kid at a restaurant in Austin when he was at Texas. He couldn't have been more genuine and humble. Real quiet guy. DJ Augustin was with him. They both seemed very cool and happy eating their chopped steak dinners at The Frisco.
Obviously fake, but very funny and cool. If KD really wanted his neighbor to stop stalking him, he'd hire some security to handle the problem - not retweet it.
