GS Globetrotters gonna run 82 - 0 into the playoffs and 16-0 through those.

Will not be watching a single game of theirs

They will lose Barnes, Bogut, Ezili.
Barbosa, Speights, Clark, Mcadoo, Varejao are free agents

Which players/ring chasers will join them for minimum?

You don't know that. IT WAS A WEAK MOVE AND SHOULD BE TREATED AS SUCH.

Yup Westbrook is as good as gone. No way he resigns with them, and no way OKC will lose Westbrook for nothing.

He's going to end up with the Lakers one way or another imo with all the assets they have from sucking the past couple of seasons

Hrmmm. Okay, he's not an average employee, but he's not the CEO either. Ever since his big injury year, it seems Westbrook was more the leader of the team. But it's like the COO messes up a key deadline and then joins the rival that benefitted from the screw up. I'll give you that, and there'd be a lot of public criticism for that as well.

My (terrible already) analogy to the business world especially falls apart in this key respect: the winning Apple-type company would never take the COO who screwed up for the competition. LOL.

Okay, okay. I am coming around to the trail o salt.

I bet Durant went over to Curry in the showers after that game 7 loss to the Cavs and promised to help him next season.

Barring a plane crash or malaria.... The Warriors are winning the title.

Rebounding doesn't matter much when you have arguably 3 of the 4 best shooters in the NBA. ..... Curry/Thompson/Durant/Green/who cares...

This is exactly it. It's the San Antonio model on steroids. All team-first players. Durant and Curry are giving up scoring titles and MVP awards. Everyone is going to have lower stats and play fewer minutes. And all are happy to do it to win and try to do unheard of things in the NBA.

They start with the goal of 96-0 and see how close they can get. They get to play with like-minded players. They've proven they can carry teams, but now they don't need to, preserving their bodies and extending all their careers. They get to live in a great place and they all get to get paid. It's hard to imagine a more perfect scenario. It's amusing to see people saying he should give that all up for his own ego and to get adoration from fans.

people are butt hurt when some one in 'free' agency that has the 'free' to choose option chooses something else than their home team.

thats why its called 'free' agency.

this dude is grown man that gets to decide where he wants to work next..you dont know his office conditions same way we do know yours. but I dont think anyone would fault you if in your careeer you made a move from one team or 'dept' to another. you moving location at your job? none of that.

grab your baby balls and enjoy the fact it will be fun to watch. admit it.

im all for super teams, there are enough anthony davis, cp3s
cp3s and hardens to go around could probably get to about 5 super teams. Im kinda fine with that tbh.
these crappy teams with one or two decent players is lame. there should be almost a relagation system with on top 8 in a tier 1 then 9-16 tier 2 etc. it would promote have and have nots but there could be ways to tinker it.

to me an 8 team tournament with 4-5 super teams is the way to go. have a play in for the bottom 4 of the 8 like ncaa tourney and make regular season schedule count as a factor in playoffs and play in series. the play in could be 3 games. one away and 2 home for the team with better record.
bonus paid of revenue share for winning and final seeding AND playoffs to the end.
something like that would increaee care, interest, competition level. everything

Since Rockets aren't going to win ***** in the next few years, I don't mind watching Warriors with Durant. I think it will be fun basketball.

Too bad for Cavs, OKC, and Spurs.
