A couple of interesting things have happened in the last couple of days. Kerry makes a comment about Bush spending more time at a rodeo than in front of the 911 commission. The next day Bush is all for “answering all of the questions.” Yesterday Kerry makes a comment “why the Bush administration was picking someone to guide government efforts to halt the hemorrhage of American manufacturing jobs who had laid off 75 of his own workers in 2002 after announcing he was constructing a $3 million plant in China.” Today that nominee withdraws. Is Kerry already influencing change?
I don't know if "influencing change" is what I'd call it. Getting elected is gonna do that. I would call it an Administration running scared. All the advisors and political operatives are stumbling into each other like the silly wankers they are, thinking they have to be on top of everything Kerry says and respond because that's easier than making coherent the disaster that is Bush's record.
So what we really need is a Presidential election every year so we can keep these suckers on their toes...
Good call I noticed this myself - I believe the Bush change of heart with the 9/11 commission was a direct result of Kerry's comments.
We'll know that Kerry has influence when he calls for the President to eat more pretzels and we see Junior the next day with a bandaid on his forehead!
Kerry led the criticisms... Bush pick bows out after Dem criticism Proposed industry `czar' had China ties WASHINGTON -- A Nebraska businessman withdrew from consideration to be the White House's manufacturing "czar" Thursday after withering attacks by Democrats about his ties to China. http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/politics/2445380
