what about Keon Clark? I watched him lately and his put up great numbers, and plays great. I think he is a whole package(can rebound, block, and score). What can we give to get him?

Hopefully we can get him in the offseason. He will be a restricted free agent.

You could trade Walt Williams and Dan Langhi........nah. ;)

Seriously guys, buyer beware with Keon. You think Nugs fans rag on Raef for being inconsistent, Keon makes him look like Karl Malone (minus the part of being a jack @ss). Every off-season, Keon would say "I'm going to work on my game, I'm going to bulk up, I'm going to be an all-star". Every August, he'd show up and what had he done all off-season? Golfed. That's it.

He wasn't popular in the locker room. He wasn't a cancer, but he definately wasn't popular. The man is the ultimate slacker in life. He's content to get his paycheck and just show up giving minimum. Someone, foolishly, will give him a huge paycheck. If I were you guys, I would pray it wasn't you. Cato + Clark. Wow. No offense, but combined that gives you 3/4 of a center for the price of 8 or 9.

Serious buyer beware there guys.

While Keon has been putting up good numbers, we have enough Forwards (MoTay, EG, KT, Tmo, Rice).

We need a quality 5 to replace Willis and Keon is not a 5.

I've been a fan of Keon's for a long time and I can honestly say as far as PFs go, he has all the talent to be the next Chris Webber. He is that good. He will show it too for the next 7 years in Toronto. He is gonna be a disgustingly good PF.

He can do things that no one else in the league can do.

The Nuggets traded him for Kevin Willis in what(IMO) will turn out to be a blunder of Polynice for Pippen proportions.

I'm a big fan. :D

While there is something in what you're saying, historically, with Keon, he has REALLY stepped it up this season, and on a consistent basis too.. He's sticking the 15-18 footer with regularity, and isn't getting into foul trouble after 10 mins..Seriously, this may be due in large part to his pending free agency, but he has really improved...He says it's cause of the way the Raptors have treated him, and the opportunity he felt Issel never gave him with any support, although I'm sure there are 2 sides...I do know that execs around the league thought it was a steal for the Raps at the time, and nothing that has happened since is likely to alter that opinion...

i HIGHLY disagree with this. he had those streaks with denver and toronto last year. its called inconsistent. and with the $$ TO has paid carter, williams, davis and the other williams, i bet keon doesnt even stay. hes gonna want far more than he deserves.

We're talking about a 43 game "streak" then, and if he's whipped off 43 game streaks like he's had this year before, then the Nugz were even less justified in trading him than I thought...

Him and Jerome Williams are too much for the eyes to handle. Damn, good thing they live in Canada.

Keon's been one of the most consistent players for the Raptors this year.

He is probably a 20/10 PF in the making. He has SF speed and he finishes extremely well around the basket.

Keon is avging 13/10 as a starter for the Raptors with like 10 shots a game in that stretch.

He's probably gonna be 2nd option to Vince Carter for years to come...

There's no big FA market this year. Keon will get 6mil/yr for 7 years. Either that or the deal that Peja got.

The Nuggest Fans on this board are just pissed that they got an aging Willis in return for a young, athletic guy, who can can block shots, rebound and score. I have watched Keon alot this year and he has been amazing. BTW he can play the 5, despite being skinny as hell.

Toronto spent alot in the past off-season and I do not know if they will be able to afford him when his contract comes up. I think he is worth making a run at. With 35 minutes a game I guarantee he will average 15points/11rebounds/2blocks a game.

Yeah, ok. I love how whenever we try to make a legit post, we're just bitter fans.

Look at his game log.

Real consistent. Notice the long streak of single digit point games earlier this year? Granted, he's been playing better later, but he still has one too many games where he shoots 1-7 or 3-9.

As for him playing the 5, get real. Keon was getting pushed around by power forwards when he was in Denver. Doubt that's changed in the year he's been in Toronto. He's 220 lbs. That's not a 5, that's a SF.

Listen, I hope you guys get him, or at least someone in the division does. He's gonna get a huge contract and be a salary cap albatros for a while, and that's gonna help the Nugs.

So he's not allowed to have bad games?

LOL, take a look at Raef LaFrentz you homer Nugget fan. You better believe Kiki Vanderweghe would trade LaFrentz straight up to get Clark back. At least Keon wants to score inside unlike that jell-o soft jumpershooting whiteboy Waif.

If Dream and Antonio Davis are hot, why play Keon a lot? He comes off the bench. It makes sense. Fact is, he'll probably win 6th man this year and maybe MIP.

Would any Rocket fan do this trade(keep in mind Radojevic and Joseph aren't in the NBA anymore)?

Keon Clark
Tracy Murray
Mamadou N'Diaye

-for-

Kevin Willis
Garth Joseph
Aleksander Radojevic

Nuggets fans, you're stupid if you can't admit your team got ripped off and gave away a great young talent.

You obviously pay NO attention to my posts. Ask most of the people here. They criticize me for getting on Raef too much. I've called Raef every name in the book.

I know we didn't win the deal. However, we didn't get as ripped off as you might think. Keon Clark and Tracy Murray were unhappy in Denver (hell, Murray didn't even play in 10% of the games). We were soft in the middle, Keon wasn't helping that. We needed an inside presence. We overpaid for it, but we got it. In the long run, we traded Keon, Tracy and Mamadou for Scott Williams and a first round pick. Not bad, but not great.

I still have trouble understanding how me being a Nuggets fan makes me not know how good of a player Keon is.

BTM,

Why do you interlope here under the guise of Rockets' fandom?

Do you think you're clever?

20-10 in the making? Are you kidding? Clark is like 26 years old an averaging 10-6. Griffin is 19 averaging 9-5.5.

If Clark is close to averaging 20-10, then Griffin will be as good as Wilt Chamberlain when he's 26.

And no, I know for sure that I wouldn't trade Lafrentz for Clark. Lafrentz is so much better in just about all categories. Lafrentz will be as good as Shaq soon.
