Keon Clark would be a nice fit and probably one of the last few decent big men out there. I hope the pg situation would be resolved with Van Exel but I don't see any one on the roster that would make this trade work. I know the Rockets have something up their sleeve, we just have to wait and see.

Keon Clark was a player with some skills but not much drive. I understand that he is into drugs and is injury prone. I would rather pass on him.

My prediction is that he'll get something like a 6 yr, $48 million contract, given that Brian Cardinal scored $38 million.

I don't think he'll get close to that much. Clark missed all of last season due to injury and if that drug thing is real, no deal will be that big.

    Keon Clark???

Ok, the guy can rebound and is tall enough to back up Yao

he's an unrestricted FA. Could be had. Any thoughts?

In DaDakota's Mihm thread I posted that IMO Mihm could be had for the current FA frenzy rate...6 year full MLE. IIRC, the new MLE was set to $4.9m making a 6 year deal worth $36,750,000. Given the injury and drug aspects, Clark ought to be a 3-4 year, $12m-$16m player.

I would certainly go with Mihm over Clark. Did the moratorium end last night, or is it tonight? Shouldn't the Rockets already have deal in place?

I would love to get Keon ~ we should make it happen.

I think the drug thing is a non-issue.

    Sign him.

What kind of drugs is he in to. Is he an herb smoker, or is he the Mad Max cokeblower type?
