I hate when a team loses and then someone speaks out that they were the better team, especially when you lose to a team in a 7 game series.

um no they didn't Kenyon. the Lakers were the top to bottom most talented team last year. Nuggets had noone who could guard Kobe or Pau Gasol.

Denver wasn't very good. 7th or 8th seed quality if you took their team and implanted it into the western conference 2yrs ago. The Lakers with a weakened Bynum weren't all that great either but still noticeably better than Denver.

He sounds like the people who think the Rockets were actually close to the Lakers. If LA had tried in every game the season would have been over a lot sooner.

Denver had an excellent team, if any team were to beat the Lakers, it would have been the Cavaliers or the Nuggets.

Lakers did not have the most talented team last year. The Celtics didn't have garnett.

I believe the Nuggets are more talented. But the Lakers were a better team 'cause their leader's name is Kobe Bryant.

    Bynum < Nene
    Gasol > Martin
    Ariza < Carmelo
    Kobe > JR Smith
    Fisher < Billups

    Bench

    Lakers > Denver

    Coaching

    Lakers > Denver

Close but no cigar IMO, Denver doesn't do all the necessary things to win a championship.

This is one of the Most IGNORANT comments I have ever! Those guys had NO answer for Gasol. Our Chuck hayes made him work, and against denver he looked unbelivable. Denver lost by a few points, and in the naked eye seemed like a close team, but anyone who understands the game knows that they are oceans apart. Defensivley they NEVER move their feet, and foul ALOT. On offense you have a team who shot the three ball so well, tht they started to depend on it alone. They aren't even better than us!. Melo had a great playoff run, and ws the only player on the nugget team that actually had a mid range game. NO WAY that they are better. hell... they aren't even close!

And there's the rub. LA doesn't come to play every game. That's their Achilles' heal. Until they correct that attitude, they are beatable. Especially in the playoffs.

Someone needs to tell the pea sized brain man known as Kenyon Martin that you actually need to play some form of defense normally to win the championship.

He look more like Kevin Martin with longer hair.

I think the Denver Nuggets had a better team than we did but we had way more heart and more passion than them. The Rockets are the one that pushed the lakers to their limit. I think that even though we are not as talented as other teams, we are a unit and we can play with the best of them. I believe that even though we are not the most talented, our heart and passion can lead us anyway we desire.
