Kenny thomas would be perfect fit for the starting small forward position. The way he's shotting threes is amazing. He's suprisingly fast and is great on transition defense. He would be the best small forward we have.

Every game Walt Williams gets worse. Rudy cant just keep starting this guy. His shooting and Defense is just atrocious this year. I know we cant start Bullard at the Small foward, so Kenny are Carlos should get a shot at starting.

Rudy must put his best starting five out there. The Rockets will pay eventually if with Walt Williams starting. A front line With Willams and Barkley...Defensivley it's too risky.

I don't think Walt and Charles's defense are risky at all, Walt is playing decent defense and Charles shut down the suns pfs last night, Peeping Tom Googs was 3-11, Rodney Rogers 2-6, and I doubt if Kenny is fast enough to keep up with other sfs. It doesn't hurt to try him, but certainly not in the starting lineup.

I don't know. Kenny is fast, but for a power forward. I don't think he could keep up with other small forwards. I like Kenny's offense and hustling defense, but I don't think putting him in the starting lineup in a position that he's not accustomed to playing is the answer right now.

With Massenburg coming back off the injured list, Do you guys think Kenny will get less playing time or will Tony just play the center spot?

for now, tmass will probably play very little, before he can work himself into game shape. Once he's fully healed and ready to go, I bet he will play center/pf. So Kenny will get less minutes. And when Hakeem comes back, Tmass is gonna play solely pf probably. So, that means even less minutes for Kenny.

But thats not so bad. Considering before hakeem got injured he was averaging 0 minutes, and after hakeem comes back, he starts averaging about 10 minutes

I don't think Thomas would be a good fit at small forward. He was a center in college. He has excellent range for a center/power forward, and I think we should use that to our advantage. If you want the lanes cleared out, Kenny Thomas is able to take his man outside. How many power forwards can do that? At 6'8" and 260 pounds, I don't think Kenny would be the best choice for small forward. But I am glad to see that he is getting some playing time. I never got to see him play in college, but when the Rockets drafted him I did do a little checking in to him. He has all the skills necessary to be a starting power forward sometime in the next few years. I hope that he turns out to be the Rockets power forward for years to come (i.e., I hope he turns out to be that good).
