At an outdoor concert someone threw a bottle from the stage and wacked my date in the face. What looked like just a small cut on the outside was a lot more messed up on the inside part of her mouth. she had to get a skin graft and she was told to stay out of the sun, avoid touching the cut, etc. to avoid scars. A lucky patient or VIP will usually get a plastic surgeon to do these stitchings not because they are massive, but because they are tough to re-attach without a scar or disjointed portion of the lip.
