Kenny Smith automatically wins because he never cheap shotted an opponent with a blind side shoulder because he couldn't handled getting bested by a 2nd year lesser known pg.

Kenny played before the no-hand check rule came into place......just imagine with his speed and quickness what he could have done in today's game. This is a guy who was shooting 50+% from the field in his prime. Fisher's made more big playoff shots i guess, but Kenny was a more consistent playoff scorer. He used to light up Stockton and give him fits actually
I have never watched Kenny before his Rockets days. So I can't speak for him then. But when it comes to driving, Kenny Smith on the Rockets WAS Rafer Alston before Rafer "perfected" his infamous teardrop. Kenny would go past his guy and put up a prayer that never goes in. Still, love Kenny for his weirdo 3 point shot. But the guy's not as good as Derek Fisher.

Personally, i'd rather have Sam I Am over either of them  But Kenny even in his first couple seasons with the Rockets could get to the basket for layups and even dunks. And i remember him being good off the dribble for the pullup midrange bank shot. He was a decent offensive player until Derek Harper showed the league how to lock him up
For those of you who followed the Rockets when Kenny played, should remember well, that he was the whipping boy on those teams. Talk radio was horrible, everyone called for his head on a daily basis. I always thought he fit in well, wasn't the best defender but was huge in key spots(game one against Orlando). I always thought people overreacted when bashing him.
Fisher is good but I don't like him as a rockets fan. P.s Kenny Simth sucks denfensively compared to Fisher.
He made more the year they moved it in but he shot for a better % and scored more before they moved the line in. When it mattered (i.e. Finals/Playoffs), it didn't matter where the line was because his % was the same during the back-to-backs
The Lakers win a championship and all of a sudden some people on this site have the audacity to compare one of the most hated Lakers in recent memory to Clutch City's own Kenny "the REAL JET" Smith. What is this world coming to! The statistics aren't even comparable.
