Well i've heard him bring the rockets into a completely different conversation when he wants to bash them. one time he was talking about how the Sonics were going nowhere aned he says the sonics like the rockets are on the wrong path and arent going nowhere.

I can only imagine tinman's reaction if he had done that.

He could have picked 20 other teams and been correct. By those standards...

They had a highlight montage of him hitting threes and winning the championship.

Don't you need to be a celebrity to be a guest on the tonight show?

Max Weinberg would be better guest (he's also a helluva guy).

Kevin Eubanks must also be pissed that Kenny comes in copying his look.

May be 'cause he's a New Yorker? :p

He never 'reps' H-town, he reps the Rockets on occasion though...

What are you talking about? He brought a clip over that showed him draining 3's against Orlando in the finals.

Maybe not, but Kenny Smith wouldn't be anywhere had he not been an integral part of the Rocket's two championship years that enabled him to reach the pinnacle of a successful NBA career, a level he would never have achieved outside of playing for the Houston Rockets. That was his calling card and spingboard to having the opportunity to becoming a sportscaster of national prominence and it is certainly not too much for us as Rocket's fans to expect him to demomstrate gratitude and to show respect for what the Rockets gave him...and if he can not or does not, then he deserves to hold no place i.e. nada, zero, in our history, our legacy, and most of all our hearts!!!!! He did not make the Rockets a winner nearly as much as the Rockets made him a winner!!!
