JVG is going to take his staff from the New York Knicks minus one assistant coach. That assistant coach was Don Chaney.

Don Chaney is now the head coach of the New York Knicks.

DC is going to need a new staff. How about for a staff, he brings in Kenny Smith.

I think it makes sense for DC and Jet.

I think Kenny Smith played under Don Chaney, when Chaney was coach of the Rockets. So they have a relationship already.

Kenny Smith is from the New York area if I recall correctly.

I think it's a perfect fit for him.

What do you guys think of that?

Nooo! That would ruin the chemistry on TNT's Inside the NBA. Ernie and Chuck would just be looking at each other...

I agree. TNT Inside the NBA is one of the best shows. Sometimes I'll watch a boring Leastern conference game just to see what they say. I hope Kenny does not get a coaching job (even though he's looking for one) so to keep that show intact.

Not if you want to be a head coach one day.
