if he was two or three inches taller ...all these rumors would be about us moving up to grab him. But at 6'8" he's not what we need.

Hes not bad but he is just a rebounder, I would go Ape Ish on the rox if we drafted this guy. Tristan Thompson is a decent rebounder with more upside i would rather we got him.

Very intriguing just wouldn't get any burn at the power spot with Scola, Patterson, however if he was on this team and learned some of the tricks of the trade from Chuck he would atleast give us a taller more athletic Chuck lol.

Him or Jamie Skeen would be nice pickups in the #23 slot if we keep it. I don't know why Skeen isn't getting more burn. Maybe it's because of all the Internationals getting attention or because of his past history at Wake Forest. Skeen lead his team in rebounding and scoring while helping them to a Final Four appearance. Give the man some respect.

I saw some vids of Faried and he looks like everyother PF in the draft: all rebounding and defense w/ no offense to go along. The exceptions to this case are Marcus Morris and JaJuan Johnson and Motiejunas, again another college kid not getting any attention because of the Internationals.

Biyombo has bust written all over him. I can't remember the last player to go straight from Africa to the NBA and have any real success (and don't count his 4 month pro-play in some obscure Spanish League, or Ibaka who makes Chuck Hayes look like Chris Webber). There is usually a college stint somewhere in between for guys like that (i.e. Olajuwon, Mutombo, Bol, etc).

I suppose a lot of this has to do with the lock out and maybe some teams think they can draft an International, keep them overseas for a couple years and then bring them back. Which is something that may not be possible for college kids who will lose playing time during the lockout.
