So Miami's not signing Ken Johnson, and it's unlikely that the Rockets would be able to get him for as little as a 2nd-rounder or two. But if they were, let's speculate about which would be more valuable for the Rockets.

I don't really follow college ball, so I depend on the expertise of you guys. What good center prospects are out there in our range? I've heard about Wilcox, Gadzuric. Wilcox sounds intriguing, but if he has that much potential and came out, I wonder if he'd still be in our range. Marcus sounds like he's out of our range. If you're CD, do you go for Ken Johnson or try to pick up a center in the late 1st, or early to mid-2nd round, and if the latter, whom?

I like what I hear of Wilcox, but with Johnson, it sounds like what you see is what you get. If what you get is a good shot-blocker, so-so rebounder because of inability to hold good positioning, good hands, a little foul prone, little offensive game, but range out to 15 ft, I'll take him over chancing it in the draft. Welcome Buckeye's comments about Johnson. Otherwise, see his comments on Johnson here.
