Who was the one that called Kelvin Cato "The Hallucination"? I'm reading the latest issue of ESPN The Magazine. On page 86 it says.. Rocket Center Kelvin Cato is BOYCOTTING the media after a Houston Chronicle columnist labeled him "The Hallucination", a snide reference to his replacing Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon. This maybe old news but I thought it was Funny! Poor Cato! He's acting like a little cry baby!
Fran Blinebury of the Houston Chronicle. He exaggerated some of Cato's words and ripped him mercilessly after media day...
Actually Cato has been talking to the media and has had a good attitude of late. Like Clutch said, Blinebury exaggerated. Blinebury is the crybaby.
Why the heck does Cryinbury have a job to begin with? God I cant stand him ever since he insulted Hakeem. Remember that idiotic article he wrote about after the Lakers championship? How Shaq is in already in the topmost echelon of centers with Wilt, Russell and Kareem. He did not even mention Hakeem once in that article!
I don't love Blinebury...but his editorials on Olajuwon during the championship years were glowing. He praised him left and right. I was an intern at the Chronicle one of those years and everytime Fran said anything about Olajuwon it was positive. blinebury in the NBA preview before the 1993-94 season picked the Rockets to beat the Knicks...the next year he picked the Rockets to beat the Magic. Both came to pass. He also wrote something a few years back about a world war beginning with the destruction of towers in the New City. Not sure what that means...I'll check on it for you and get back to you. nevertheless...fran is an unfortunate name for a man.
Great now he knows the future? Blinedamus would it be? Completely off topic but did anyone hear about David Copperfield. He wrote down the winning numbers of the German lotto in February. For a drawing that was held in October! If anyone knows about the future its Copperfield.
Oh, and about that Copperfield thing - it must have been some trick. There were lawyers present to supervise the opening of the box with the piece of paper on which he had written the numbers - but somehow he must have had a way to manipulate that piece of paper after the drawing.
Boy, you gotta love to be David Copperfield. Who knows how rich he is plus he at one time had this: Thank God, she came to her senses!
She's not THAT great...I'd prefer Penelope Cruz or Laetitia Casta... Not that we would be off-topic by now or anything...
A big reason for that (and why he was so against trading Olajuwon) is because Dream was his #1 source. I don't know how that came to be, but Blinebury got all his info from Olajuwon.
