After watching this game tonight, I honestly believe we can compete with any team in this league... We just gotta come out with the right mindset and energy every night. I still have faith in this team. This was a good loss but tough one also. There was alot of positive signs tonight but also some negatives we can improve upon. Once we find our identity we will be a dangerous team.
Oh for real? They're gonna start finding their identity now 54 games into the season? No team is gonna wanna face us.
If we somehow we can also pull a trade with the hawks it can be a huge. I would love to have milsap and teague.
any decent team can compete if they try enough. Rockets can "compete" on their way to a 4 game sweep/5 game series against GS, but a 4 game sweep is still a sweep even if every game was contested.
We came into the season not prepared.. and harden was out of shape.. be a real fan and have some faith
they're not going to play the same tomorrow or every game. that's the problem. taking signs from one game won't mean anything to anyone, because we've seen one game. what we haven't seen is this team actually build on anything. our expectation this season was to compete with GS. it's become so reversed that on a day harden drops 37, curry goes 5-17 after his blistering hot start, klay goes 5-19, and draymond doesn't score his first fg until way late in the 4th...and we lose by double digits still giving up 123 points, then you have to understand why people's heads are down. if they show some damn consistency of fight and heart EVERY game for a stretch longer than 1-2 weeks, then maybe i can actually keep my head up. otherwise, we're one more loss tomorrow from going into the AS break as the 9th seed and under .500. i'm drowning.
Never allow yourself to feel as if this Rockets team is good.. never. They will lose and we probably won't make the playoffs accept that and move on. Just pray that Morey makes great trades for the future and does a good job this offseason in picking a new coach and putting good talent with Harden.
Barnes might actually fit better with Harden because he doesn't have to have the ball in his hands as much as Durant, plus he is young so you can keep him around longer. You don't say no to Durant tho
This is ridiculous. .. the team is built around harden.. makes no sense to get barnes.. Rather just wait and try for the kd sweepstakes

I'm sure the 76ers said the same thing after their 108-105 lost to Warriors. Let that sink in, the 76ers were more competitive with the warriors than us.
So the 76ers > Spurs then? Basically you letting one game dictate what your judgement of the whole team is and I'm pointing out the flaw in making that assumption. This game doesn't prove anything is what I am getting at.
