i'm starting this new thread b/c i couldn't find the old one in the GARM..

if you go to the NBA.com website, you can't really get to the All-Star ballot easily. i got the link below after Googling it.

    http://www.nba.com/allstar2007/asb/eng/ballot.html?from=sweeps

we have TMac, Shane, and Yao up for spots.

a couple years ago, i went on a mission to get enough write-in votes for Scott Padgett to try to get him in the Top 10 of forwards.
does anyone want to try to do that for V-Span? who's in?

feel free to bump this thread every so often to remind the BBSers to keep voting.

They give you prizes (if your in the upper seats) if you fill out 30 ballots at the game, so that should help as well. :)

YOU GOTTA WRITE IN CHUCK HAYES!!! Who else here thinks that Chuck is a most improved player candidate? Kevin Martin with Sac is on track to win that one...

Lets see if this year they all start whining how Yao is only winning cause of the internet vote, yet every year he wins in paper ballots....let the hating begin.....:p

Just voted for Tmac, Yao and Shane. We will have 3 all-star this season. Trust me, Shane's shoe endorsement shows his popularity in China. And these fans will bring him to the All-Star stage. I ma just think it's a little sick if one team has 3 All-Star starters at the same time ? :D

who should the BBS OFFICIALLY try to write in? i'm sure, with our number of members, we can really make an impact using a concerted effort.

for me, it was hard picking between Rubber Chucky and V-Span, but Billy's crazy beard gives him the edge in my book.

let's try to get Houston, China, and Greece to try and write-in Spanoulis - what do y'all say?

I'm sorry but I HAVE to write in my boy Chuck. It would be disloyal to write in V-span. Though I really love watching VSpan play!!

V-Span doesn't deserve it as much as CHUCK HAYES. Vote for Chuck.

can you choose 2 forwards from the west and still write in a forward?? or do you have to only pick 2 including the write-in??

    2 including the write-in.
early on, i made the mistake of voting for Tmac & Deron Williams, and used my write-in vote for V-Span, and the write-in didn't count, even though i had only voted for one forward (Battier).

    bump.

guys, remember to write-in either Chucky Hayes or V-Span along with regularly voting for Yao, Shane, and T-Mac.

to write-in Chucky, you will have to only vote for Battier and no one else; to write-in V-Span, you will have to only vote for T-Mac and no one else.

you're allowed only 2 guards, 2 forwards, and 1 center. it's not like the coaches' ballots, where they're allowed to vote for players regardless of position.

you know how they have those camps in china where people just play warcraft all day for kids in the us to build up their points because they are lazy? We need one of those to get battier into the all star game.

I'm just scared T-Mac won't make it as a starter.

But I've been voting, let's try to get Battier on there at least, hopefully China will help.

Don't worry, with we Chinese, T-mac is a lock for the No.1 guard in the west. Shane also has a good chance of beating KG and Dirk for a start alongside TD. There are 1.3 billion people out there! David Wesley was a top-10 most-votted guard last season. BTW, Chuck is the write-in. It's a no-brainer.

Well that's good, I just hope the NBA counts every Chinese vote equally as any other.

Tracy doesn't deserve it plus he needs the rest. I wouldn't be upset if he misses it.

Sure TMac deserves to be an All-Star. It's a popluarity contest for crying out loud. I know you are gonna vote for MJ, Sammy. Yeah, I know.
