Times publisher being investigated The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating the interim publisher and sports editor of the Katy Times after he allegedly posed as two former Katy High football players to lure girls into chatting electronically. Photographs were allegedly sent in the exchanges, the detective on the case told The Herald Friday morning. A search warrant, signed by Judge Robert J. Kern of the 387th District Court, was conducted Thursday to obtain computer items and equipment, including hard drives under sports editor and interim publisher Nick Georgandis’ control, at the Katy Times’ office in Katy. Georgandis’ home in an unincorporated area of Fort Bend County also was searched. Katy Times is owned by the Hartman Newspapers Inc. Jeff Kapche, detective on the case, said he is still conducting the forensic investigation into the computers. Georgandis has not been arrested or charged, Kapche said. The search warrant lists material to be seized as including comments posing as Aundre Dean and Trent Hunter, victims in the case, information about their personal lives and “obscene and disturbing things sexual in nature.” Other material sought in the warrant was a Web page in the victims’ names and e-mails, text messages and photos impersonating the victims. Both Dean and Hunter play college football. Dean plays for TCU, and Hunter plays for Texas A&M. Kapche said the events in question occurred between January 2009 and recent times. Several witnesses outside of the newspaper came forward providing information that someone was impersonating Dean and Hunter, Kapche said. Kapche said he also received a report from UCLA police last year in reference to the case. Dean formerly attended UCLA and played for the Bruins in 2008. No time line has been set on the investigation’s eventual findings, Kapche said, but relevant information would be sent to the district attorney’s office. Kapche said he appreciates the cooperation of the Katy Times. Georgandis has been cooperative, he said. http://katytimes.com/articles/2010/02/19/news/doc4b7ef131ae989304931713.txt
Those are some awfully suggestive crepes man. I feel uncomfortable. Timeout for you, maybe even ban-worthy.
I assume you're kidding. Just in case, the reason I posted that was the title has the word "Creppy" in it instead of "Creepy" so I thought of crepes. It was a spelling fail. I didn't even think about other possibilities until reading your post.
I see what he means now but I'm not sure if he's serious or not. I certainly did not mean anything more than what I explained in my previous post. If it's inappropriate, I have no problem changing or deleting the pic. Edit: To any mods, I assure you I meant nothing other than to point out the spelling fail in the title. The joke came to mind before even seeing the subject of the article. Please delete the pics if you feel it is necessary. I apologize for any confusion. ziggy has me paranoid.
