That would rock, because it would doom San Antonio to not winning again as long as that cancer is on their team.

    HAHAHAHA THAT WOULD BE GREAT!

Don't be upset; if Malone ends up there, then SA won't win the title. It's The Curse of the Flopping-Elbower.

He won't win anything; never has, never will. I despise his idea of leeching in to another team's back and thinking he can win a title and being selective about where he will only play.

The only time he ever won anything (this doesn't really count) was with the Dream Team.

Check that: Karl Malone -- The Flopping-Elbowing-Leech

If Karl ever wins a ring, it shouldn't count - it certainly won't in my book. I'm surprised we haven't heard Malone to the Pistons yet.

    Karl Malone blows chunks.

This is ridiculous, how desperate can Karla get...a former MVP now riding coattail after coattail. Pretty pitiful.

Y'all can talk about a curse all you want, but the prospect of Malone being on the Spurs frightens me.

The Spurs are a contending team, year after year. This year looks to be no different. Do you really want to risk Malone riding the coattail of one of the most dominant players in the game right now to an NBA championship?

There will be no "Fab Four" in San Antonio. Just Tim Duncan doing his thing, night in and night out, surrounded by a great supporting cast, and racking up wins.

I live in San Antonio, and I have come to resent violently the continuity and success the Spurs enjoy every year. Not only do most of the fan favorites return, but they actually contribute.

There would be no tension on the Spurs. There would be no question of who's team it was. Malone could take garbage minutes, let everyone else do the hard work, and end his magnificent, vomit-inducing career with the ring he was thankfully denied last year.

    I'm still hoping he retires.

    ... have rings will travel.

A pathetic end to a future Hall of Fame career.

... can I please ride anyone's bandwagon to the championship trophy -- Karl Malone

Why am I not surprised. It is Karla. He is not going to retire soon. He will change team every year till he is a bench warmer, but he will still stay. Man, this is something!

Soon, he will pick the best team and pay $10M to buy a roster spot.

    Malone or no Malone...

    2005 is our year.

TD and company are pissed and embarrassed about last year, and are going to demonstrate that from game one to game eighty-two.

We have the best player in the world.

Five of our top seven players are thirty or younger.

Brent Barry will contribute that dead-eye shooting we lacked in 2004.

Malik Rose will return to his 2002-2003 form.

If health permits, we win 65 games and the title.

No offense, Rox fans. Your new team looks good and will probably beat us twice.

If the Rockets ever got Malone, I would rather have us throw out the season so he wouldn't get a ring and then he would leave us. Then we turn around and win it the the year after he leaves

Seriously, in order to prevent this scumbag from having a ring, I hope the Rockets lure him to Houston with decent money and the prospect of Yao/T-Mac combo. Then we cut him right before the playoffs, leaving the b*stard crying in the bathtub. Probably won't happen though.:(

What a cheap ass...Win a freakin championship on your own, you puss.

This guys going to be bouncing around every year to the team he feels will win it all the following year.

Seriously, how tarnished would that ring be? I cant imagine him really feeling like he won it all.

Malone is devoid of any self-resespect. He will not only feel but also believe and gloat that he is the reason Spurs won the championship.

    gospursgo,

Best player in the world is Kevin Garnett, now that we know what he can do with a supporting cast.
