If George Karl dons Carolina Blue, then what the fate of GP? By all accounts the Glove is in trouble if that occurs. Milwaukee wouldn't keep him and few have $s to spend for him.

So, in fairness, I suggest the following:

GP, signed and traded to Rox, with salary albatross Tim Thomas.

Rox give Rice and his expiring contract, MoT to play the 4 which TT wouldn't, and Mooch.

Bucks save @$4mil from this year's salary (still within 15% of total $s, so trade acceptable). Rox' salaries go up, but their balance and talent improve, while dumping two contracts they don't want (for one that Milw doesn't want, TT).

JPo is re-signed to play 2/3 (no one will give him their full MCE with all the FAs available, Luxury Tax looming, and few $s available).

JPo, TT (and Boki?) man the 3.

    Cat brings in a 4 or a 4/5.

    Deal? I say do it!

That would benefit us. But Gary Payton is a free agent in the summer. He is not with the Milwaukee Bucks unless they sign him. Or they can do a sign and trade or whatever. But Glen Rice, Maurice Taylor, and Moochie Norris will not be enough if you want Gary Payton and Tim Thomas. You are dreaming. It would be easier to get Michael Redd, Toni Kukoc, or Desmond Mason. I know the Bucks would really want to get Kelvin Cato though. You wish.

    "Deal? I say do it!"

If I were the Rockets, of course I would do it.

But if I was the Bucks, hell no.
