I remember reading this guy on yahoo message board. He called this financial stuff a long time ago. But he sounds to much like a permabear.
What does he want the government to do exactly? Shut down the markets? Don't know this guy, but he's just being all hysterics, no suggestions.
Ahhh, thanks for this. You know the only people who mention this frequently are libertarian types & their fringe relatives in the black helicopter crowd. They mention it so much that they really seem to actually WANT this to happen....it's kind of bizarre, makes me think they are not the type of people that anybody should listen to. They should sell their stocks and sit in their bunkers while the rest of us try to be productive. I'm doing my part by posting on the BBS.
So, do I just buy everything I can on credit now, then when our whole sytem fails, I'll already have what I need for a while and wont have to pay anything back? This is going to be totally sweet!!!!!
I just bought a few acres that I'll begin clearing next week. Hope to plant crops by late spring. Then I'll get a few hogs, cows, and chickens. I'll be washing down bacon and eggs with fresh milk while the rest of the world is scrambling through dumpsters.
He's got indicators to tell him all that? My favorite is the indicator that tells him the National Guard will fail at quelling unrest. He's like one of those command center guys in ridiculous spy movies that has all the information one could need to move the plot forward at his fingertips. But, what the heck. If he's right, everyone will hail him as a genius. If he's wrong,we'll all forget. Right?

Yeah as we sit around the camp fires in front of our tent cities we can tell tales of how he was right.
So I didn't notice anything about the NFL, NBA or college football. That stuff is going to be fine right? What about my uverse and 24. As long as that stuff is still around, I can deal with some civil unrest.

When we producers go on strike and leave the masses to rot and fester in the socialistical society they created, there will be no leaders to organize the mob. Man, you have a lot to learn about how the world really works.

Maybe all of what's happening now is John Galt stopping the engine of the world. I'm going to start looking around Aspen to see if I can find his utopia of greed.
